MBA in Accounting and Finance focuses on contemporary theoretical and practical issues in the fields of accounting and finance. Its primary goal is to strengthen managerial decision-making capabilities in financial issues. This specialization is meant for current, prospective or aspirant security analysts, portfolio managers, financial controllers, bankers, project finance managers, moneylenders, professional accountants, financial analysts, financial managers, as well as trainers and researchers in these and related fields.
The global business environment of today needs executives who recognize global trends and respond successfully to them. This MBA program raises the standards of management knowledge and practice through the study and understanding of management theory based on empirical research. Admission Requirements
The main prerequisite for admission to the MBA Program is a sound academic background. Applicants must hold at least a Bachelor's degree from a recognized university, preferably (not required) with a foundation in economics and management.
Proficiency in English is absolutely essential to complete the MBA Program. Applicants whose previous education has been in a language other than English, must submit evidence of proficiency in the English language by achieving the following scores:
A GMAT score of at least 500 is the desirable prerequisite for enrolment. Three or more years of relevant work experience is required.
