Educational requirements: BSc in Agriculture, biology, animal or veterinary science, fisheries or related field.

Language requirements: TOEFL (minimum score: 580); IELTS (minimum score: 6.5)

Other requirements: Grade Point Average of at least 70%; good skills in mathematics and/or statistics; basic computer skills.

Objectives: The Aquaculture and Fisheries programme studies the management of living resources in seas, rivers and lakes in the broadest sense. This includes the production of human food, recreation, ornamental fish and nature conservation.

Subjects: One of the major challenges for this young, dynamic and innovative industry is to avoid the pitfalls of terrestrial animal production and to develop sustainable methods to produce fish.

Modes of instruction: Lectures, practical work, casework, group work, computer models, excursions, self study, thesis research.
