This MA will introduce you to the diversity of social archaeology; provide you with experiences in reading complex data-specific and/or theoretical texts; and allow you to develop a regionally or chronologically specific area of expertise. You will be in a good position to gain employment in archaeology, heritage and related industries, or to conduct research in archaeology or a cognate discipline.
The MA in social archaeology welcomes students with specialist interests in a variety of periods, regions and methodologies. It explores current themes in social archaeology while ostering and deepening students’ regional and period based specialisms.
Within the programme you can develop your own interests in the archaeology of any period or region. You will have the opportunity to explore current themes in social archaeology while fostering and deepening your regional and period based specialisms.
