The East European Studies Online Master programme provides its students with ample knowledge of Eastern Europe. The programme teaches the requirements necessary for employment in East European concerns, but also prepares students for further scientific work.

East European Studies Online consists of the following 12 modules: Introduction and Tools, Politics, Society, Humanities, Law, Economics, Intercultural Communication, Globalisation, Migration, European Integration, Conflict Management and Project Management.

In 2006, the programme was distinguished by the Donors' Association for the Promotion of Sciences and Humanities in Germany and the German Academic Exchange Service as one of Germany's Top Ten International Master's Programmes.
