Course details

Arts and Cultural Research provides graduates with a foundation for a career in research in industry, the public sector or in academic life. At a time in which the cultural sector is increasingly under the microscope both academically and in the context of evaluation research the MRes provides students with the skills, critical perspectives and methodologies needed to undertake research in the broad arena of arts and culture. It is distinctive in the way that students' own developing research interests are placed at the heart of the syllabus.
