The Bachelor's course in automation technology focuses on the electrical engineering of measurement and instrumentation and open- and closed-loop control. The department has detailed expertise especially in the field of embedded systems, i.e. programmable microchips implemented in machines to control buildings or industrial plants. In addition to modules on electrical engineering, course modules such as simulation technology, small-type motors, industrial sensors, and the application of programmable controls to manufacturing and process control enable our students to develop key competencies in automation technology.
Bachelor of Science degree, awareness of German and European culture, bi-(multi-) cultural communication skills, German as a foreign language, how to contact and to work in co-operation with German high technology companies and research facilities.
