Educational requirements: BSc in chemical engineering, chemistry, mechanical engineering, physics, materials engineering, polymer science and engineering, or equivalent study.

Language requirements: TOEFL (minimum score: 550 (paper based), 213 (computer based)); IELTS (minimum score: 6.0 (overall))

Other requirements: Grade point average in previous study should be at least 3.0 on scale of 4.0.

Objectives:  To educate at an academic level chemical engineers in one of the specialisations offered. The engineer will be a broadly oriented, flexible and critically thinking professional. He/She will be able to provide technical/scientific solutions for problems and questions related to process and product engineering, taking into account the economic, social, environmental and ethical aspects.

Subjects:

Three specialisations in chemical engineering are offered:

  1. Process engineering
  2. Molecular engineering
  3. Polymers and composites. Each soecialisation is characterised by an obligatory programme and a graduation project

Modes of instruction: In general the principle of design-based learning is applied, notebook assisted learning by using state-of-the-art ICT (dense network of branches all over the campus), lectures, practical assignments, exercises, project groups, internship, research project.
