Course description

The Leibniz Institute of Marine Sciences (IFM-GEOMAR) at the Christian Albrecht’s University in Kiel (CAU), Germany, is an internationally leading research institute representing all major disciplines of oceanographic sciences. In addition to basic oceanographic research a major focus of the IFM-GEOMAR is investigating the role the ocean plays in a changing global climate. The IFM-GEOMAR is a lead institute in the Excellence Cluster "Future Ocean" at the University of Kiel. Students at the IFM-GEOMAR are closely integrated into ongoing research and have a chance to interact across disciplines as well as learn about applied aspects of marine sciences.
