Students will be taught in all relevant areas of Biology (e.g., physiology, anatomy, genetics, molecular biology, etc.). A special programme is defined for students who want to continue onto medical school after their B.Sc. The major starts with basic lectures in mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology in the first year. Laboratory courses (as modules) complement the lectures. Second year lectures and lab courses include biology subjects ranging from physiology to neurobiology, and molecular biology. In the third year specialisation in the direction of physiology, biophysics, neurobiology, endocrinology and chronobiology becomes possible supplemented by guided research projects and elective courses.
