The 18-month Master's programme in "Molecular Medicine" builds on the basic foundations in natural sciences and medicine gained in the Bachelor programme or another equivalent course and deepens the students' knowledge and understanding of molecular medicine.

In the first year of the Master's programme the blocked module, "Special molecular-pathological aspects of organ systems", expands upon the clinical aspects of molecular medicine. Further compulsory modules cover special aspects of molecular Immunology, Bacteriology, Human Genetics, and Oncology. The last six months of the Master's programme are dedicated to the preparation of the Master's thesis.
