The MSc Cellular Pathology course is designed to meet the changing needs of the routine cellular pathology department. It will provide an opportunity to acquire a deeper understanding of core knowledge and will introduce you to recent advances in cellular and molecular pathology.
The increasing use of immunocytochemisty and molecular biological techniques in diagnostics will be important components of the course.
Core modules
The course is augmented with lectures and demonstrations of recent advances in diagnostic practice and technology (including diagnostic immunocytochemistry, tissue microarrays and molecular analysis, and informatics in cellular pathology). Assessment is achieved through a mix of coursework and examination.
This course is designed for those employed, or seeking to be employed, in histopathology or cytopathology departments, or in academic and industrial research laboratories.

You are expected to have at least one years laboratory experience. You must also normally possess at least one of the following:
