The Master programmes of Rotterdam Business School has been designed to prepare our students for the management challenges of the 21st century. Students receive a solid background in disciplines central to the professional economist job in an international setting. The main aim of the programme is to further develop professionals at middle and higher management level. The RBS MBA programme is structured by three business themes that focus on the three interrelated perspectives of Business, People and Technology and how they affect strategic decision-making.
Every business theme consists of a core module and an elective module. In the first year, students are being prepared to view management issues from different perspectives by the three business themes. In the second year course members conduct individual research for writing their final thesis.
You are expected to have at least three years’ relevant management experience and an academic level of at least Higher Vocational Education (obtained through experience and education). The latter may also have been obtained by a combination of education and experience. Therefore, self-made managers without a Higher Education diploma, who have built up their expertise in practice, will be at the right address with them as well.
An intake interview is conducted with every candidate. In this interview it may be concluded that you have to take a GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) and/or an IELTS (International English Language Testing System) test.
