PhD - Doctoral Program: Maastricht School of Management

Course Description

The PhD Program is conducted as an  MSM  –University joint  Doctoral  Program. The PhD awarding Institute is the collaborating University. Among the collaborating partners are Dutch Universities, including the  University  of  Maastricht, the Open University of the  Netherlands  as well as the Universities of Twente, Wageningen, Eindhoven,   Tilburg and various others. The PhD Degree is conferred in recognition of high attachment of learning, by the respective university. Research in this case is more theoretical and recognized as different in purpose. Professors of the Maastricht School of Management and the cooperating university jointly supervise participants.

Educational requirements: Masters degree or its academic equivalent from a recognized university.

Professional experience required: 3 or more years of relevant business experience.

Language requirements : TOEFL (minimum score: 550 (paper based); 213 (computer based)); IELTS (minimum score: 6.0)

Objectives: The mission of the doctoral program is to provide its graduates, who are seeking leadership roles in business or academic organizations, with a multidisciplinary grounding in business administration. Through the development or a research capability, they are provided with a lifelong advantage in management practice.
