Course Description

The course provides students with IBD in a three-or four-semester academic training, a sound and practical knowledge in depth:

• International Business
• Marketing
• Management
• Finance and Controlling
• Human Resource Management
• International law
• Business Ethics and Intercultural Competence

The deepening of course content in multi-national seminar groups is complemented by all-day workshops in companies, a big business game at the end of the study and a six-month business internship (only in the four-semester Master's program).

The master programme International Business Development provides students with a comprehensive qualification and education which will enable them to act confidently and responsibly as managers. Therefore language courses, ethical and intercultural contents are important study contents and great importance is attached to having a significant percentage of international students as daily partners in communication.

Requirements for entrance:

• A domestic or foreign academic study (degree, for example "Diplom" or "Bachelor") of business management or a comparable study with at least the overall average grade “B”.
• Good knowledge of German. This knowledge has to be documented by the successful allocation of the “Deutsche Sprachprüfung für den Hochschulzugang (DSH)” or equivalent courses. Excepted are students speaking German as mother tongue or foreign students having already graduated in Germany. The certificate can be hand in during the first semester.
• Good knowledge in English. This knowledge has to be documented by the successful allocation of the TOEFL (at least 83 points internet-based) or equivalent courses (European frame level B2). Excepted are students speaking English or students having already graduated in an anglophone country. The certificate can be hand in during the first semester.
