The programme is aimed at those people who have at least three years post-graduate work experience and are looking to progress their careers to the next level. The programme aims to equip candidates with the broad range of business skills which are necessary to achieve this progression. The Manchester Full-time MBA offers two features highly prized by employers; a genuinely international experience and a style of learning - the 'Manchester Method' - which encourages you to co-operate with your colleagues and to apply what you are learning to real-life managerial situations.
Their programme is long enough to allow you to learn the theory and then put it into practice through company projects. Students on the Manchester Full-time MBA are able to take advantage of the School's numerous links with blue-chip employers, and its graduates achieve an average of 104% increase in salary in the three years following graduation. The Manchester MBA is accredited by AACSB International, AMBA (The Association of MBAs), and EQUIS.
Diploma Stage (first 9-months)
Firstly you will develop your 'toolkit' of broad management knowledge and skills - learning from many of the world's best business brains, including Manchester's world-leading academic team, and high-achieving business practitioners.
You will then put your knowledge into action to meet real business challenges within a controlled environment - working in multi-cultural groups on practice assignments from sponsor companies.
MBA Stage (final 9-months)
Moving from the Diploma to the MBA stage is all about choice. Extend your knowledge by pursuing specialist electives, with a chance to study at another prestigious international partner school, or pursue your own project or dissertation. You may also choose to try out a new career and earn money through an internship.
Finally, you will test yourself to the limit with the International Business Project - working with four or five of your fellow students as a consultancy team for a large international organisation.
Previous graduates are currently employed in senior positions in consulting, strategy and business development, finance, sales and marketing, operations and production and general management.
95% of their students have found employment within three months of graduation, with last year's graduates earning an average total compensation package of £64,927 ($US105,701). The latest research by The Financial Times shows that salaries rapidly rise - increasing by an average 103% three years after qualifying.
