Educational requirements: BSc or BA degree in agribusiness or economics or related field (for instance food technology).
Professional experience required: 2 years.
Language requirements: Non-native English speakers, who did not take secondary education in English, are requested to prove their English proficiency TOEFL 550 IELTS 6.0.
Other requirements: Basic computer skills, basic knowledge of statistical analysis and a good command of English.
Objectives: Professionals involved in the management of international food and agribusiness are trained in decision-making as is common at different levels in the agricultural production chain in Europe.
Subjects: Managerial economics; management and organisation; sales and marketing; international financial management and accounting; logistics and operations; research methods; food chain; business start.
Modes of instruction: Case studies, computer-based learning, in-company projects, business games and lectures. 4 months study in the Netherlands, 3 months in the UK (Royal Agricultural College Cirencester) and a team-project of 2 months in the UK, France, Germany, Spain or the Netherlands.
