The Master of Enterprise (MEnt) is run jointly by the school of the subject discipline and the Manchester Science Enterprise Centre. The course has been designed to combine Masters level research, sound business theory and the practical enterprise skills needed to apply that knowledge in a business context.
Over the last 5 years the MEnt has helped its students launch over 30 successful new companies. In addition to launching new businesses the course is designed to help students maximise their potential by enhancing their subject knowledge with practical commercial skills and an understanding of business in a variety of contexts. Graduates have gone on to work for blue chip organisations such as Unilever, Rolls-Royce and Accenture.
Academic entry qualification overview:
A minimum lower second class honours degree, or the overseas equivalent, in a related discipline.
English language:
Students whose first language is not English are required to have a minimum of 6.5 IELTS or 600 TOEFL.
