Course Description

This programme is aimed at graduates and similarly qualified individuals from engineering, scientific or mathematical backgrounds, who desire advanced specialisation in aerodynamics. Emphasis is placed on the fundamentals of the subject, which include numerical methods, and the physics and computation of turbulence. A list of proposed theoretical, computational or experimental research projects is produced each year by the academic staff and is available by contacting the School. Topics may also involve collaboration with external industrial organisations.

Entry Requirements

2:1 Honours degree in engineering, mathematics or science-based subject/equivalent.
Candidates with relevant employment experience would be considered.
