Preliminary knowledge at the Bachelor's level in the chosen subject is required. Fundamental methods and techniques of computer simulation will be taught. Extensive computer lab courses, including parallel computing, are part of the curriculum.
Graduates will have acquired all competences fundamental to scientifically analyse and treat complex problems, in particular those arising in the natural sciences. They will have adopted skills and methods from computer science and mathematics particularly tailored to the computer simulation of complex problems.
