Introduction
This course provides an advanced and specialist understanding of programming, and the use of coherent networks and distributed computing systems used in industry and commerce for many applications
The MSc in Computer Networks and Distributed Computing offers a newer and much requested variation on this theme, aiming to provide advanced and specialist understanding of the programming and use of the coherent networks and distributed computing systems to be found in industry and commerce. Therefore it seeks to promote the capability to use and develop problem-solving methods and distributed programming techniques.

Entrance Requirements
- A BSc Honours degree or equivalent qualification in computer technology, computer science with significant hardware content or electronic engineering with significant computing content or
- Less formal qualifications than the above, augmented by sufficient work experience to have gained the necessary personal and academic maturity to tackle the course on equal terms with those having formal qualifications or
- A merit pass in the Diploma in Electronics and Computer Technology awarded by the University of Westminster, or an equivalent course.
