The aim:
- a sound training in the context of computer science, which is the current international standard of high performance computing oriented;
- training in one of the possible fields of application of the Scientific Computing
- the expertise for an independent adaptation and development of methods of the Scientific Computing
120 ECTS; Pflichtmodul (36 ECTS), elective module (42 ECTS), free subjects (6 ECTS), Diploma Students Seminar (6 ECTS), MA (30 ECTS);
Compulsory modules:
- Basics (Advanced Software Engineering, structural sciences), Interdisciplinary computer science (transformation systems, algorithms and programming in Scientific Computing, parallel architectures and programming, Practical Computational Technologies);
Optional modules:
- Application subject (Analytical methods of the Scientific Computing, one of the following modules: Molecular Modelling, Pharmakoinformatik, Computational Physics), Kern combination;
Free subjects:
Diploma Students Seminar:
- 2 seminar is intended for the scientific preparation and drafting of a special topic for the dissertation and the scientific depth to reprocessing of selected issues in the context of the dissertation
Master's thesis:
- The issue is the core of a specialist or a combination of interdisciplinary computer science module to choose;
- only after positive assessment is the declaration of Magisterprüfung possible;
Completion:
- positive completion of all modules and the Master's examination positively assessed dissertation;
