Objectives: To provide insight into the major historical, cultural socio-economical and political factors, as well the issues relevant within this region. A good command of Mandarin.
Subjects: The 1st year consists of study in Mainland China or Taiwan to obtain a good command of Chinese. The 2nd year: courses about cultural, political and economical aspects.
Modes of instruction: Lectures, seminars, research projects, master's thesis, study in the field.
