About the programme

This is a highly interdisciplinary and comparative MA programme in the fields of gender, culture and politics. The emphasis is on comparative insights (at both national and international levels) into the functioning of gender and ethnicity. Special attention will be paid to the political and policy aspects of cultural developments.

Students following this programme will acquire knowledge about the methodologies and theory of Women's and Gender Studies. This knowledge will enable them to critically assess research findings in this field. They will also study the interaction between gender and ethnicity.

Admission requirments

Educational requirements: BA in relevant subject, e.g. humanities, social sciences etc. with 45 ECTS in women's studies or a major in women's studies.

Language requirements: TOEFL (minimum score: 580 (paper test) or 237 (computer test).); IELTS (minimum score: 6.5 (6.0 for the writing module).), Cambridge EFL Advanced English: B; Cambridge EFL Proficiency in English: C.
