About the programme

The Master's degree in European Studies is a two-year , interdisciplinary and non-consecutive study program at the Leibniz University Hannover. It offers students an informed, interdisciplinary and practice- based training , which makes them familiar with newer sociological interpretation approaches on European politics and society and decision-making and decision-making processes in the European Union , and qualifie.

The Career Portal is a new service of the coordination center for students and alumni of the Masters course in European Studies in Hanover.

As a result of positive feedback for the work placements are processed here from now on Europe -related jobs and other useful information for graduates of the Master degree in European Studies. Work placements and job board is updated regularly.

Admission Requirements

university degree

  • at least B.A. or comparability with German degrees
  • preferably in a relevant subject or a relevant combination of subjects (social sciences, law, economics, etc.)

Language skills

  • Good knowledge of English ( eg TOEFL test or study experience in an English speaking country, ie at least one semester of completing the examination)
  • Good German language skills (eg how DSH, TestDaF or study experience at a German university)
  • Demonstrable knowledge of another European language
