Course description

These courses are designed for experienced dental practitioners who wish to further their knowledge in endodontics, the branch of dentistry that deals with diseases of the tooth root, dental pulp and surrounding tissues.

Career opportunities

This highly integrated course develops a knowledge and understanding of contemporary aspects of endodontics, promoting an appreciation of an interdisciplinary approach to comprehensive patient care including advanced diagnostic and clinical skills.

Motivated individuals can develop careers in a range of areas including clinical practice, teaching and, in the case of MSc students, research.

Entry requirements

Academic entry qualification overview: Applicants will be required to provide evidence of their primary dental qualification from a recognised institution.

English language: For those students whose first language is not English, one of the following is required:

  • A minimum IELTS of 6.5 with no less than 6 in the written component
  • TOEFL 575 paper-based
  • TOEFL 230 computer-based
  • TOEFL 90 iBT

This certification must be no more than 12 months old.

Relevant work experience: Two years post-graduation experience is required.

Professional entry qualification: Primary Dental Degree from a recognised institution
