Course description

The four year clinical PhD offers those with a recognised dental clinical qualification the opportunity to extend their research studies by undertaking a clinical component in addition to their research programme. A total of three sessions a week will be dedicated to clinical work, which may take a variety of forms.

This innovative new programme is currently being offered in the following:

Restorative Dentistry (Endodontics, Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics, Periodontology)
Paediatric Dentistry
Oral Surgery
Implant Dentistry
Dental Public Health

Entry requirements

Academic entry qualification overview: Applicants should possess an internationally recognised clinical dental degree i.e. BDS, DMD, DDS.

English language: A TOEFEL score of 6.5 for overseas candidates is required.
