Course description
This couse aims to develop dentists' skills in the area of restorative and aesthetic dentistry.
Course aims
- Provide an innovative programme which enhances current knowledge and clinical skills in aesthetic restorative dentistry
- Present sound academic theory and high-quality practical training in aesthetic concepts by world-class mentors
- Provide students with the confidence and ability to enhance their current clinic practice by incorporating the latest advances in technology and research ensuring aesthetic as well as biocompatible, functional and long-lasting restorative care
- Deliver learning using the latest technology enabling students to access the course regardless of place or time zone while maintaining their dental practices
Entry requirements
Academic entry qualification overview: All applicants will be required to provide evidence of a primary dental degree from a recognised institution.
English language: Where the applicant's certificate of education is from an approved English speaking country are exempt from having to take the English test. Applicants whose degree certificate is not from an approved English speaking country, but are resident in an approved English speaking country for 36 months before the Programme, are also exempt. Approved countries:
- UK, Channel Islands and the Isle of Man
- Australia, Canada, New Zealand and USA
- Bermuda, Bahamas, Barbados, Dominica, Fiji, Jamaica and Tinidad & Tobago
- Gambia, Guyana, Kenya (KCSE/GCSE English Grade C and above), Malawi and Uganda (English grade 4 in UCE)
Applicants from all other countries, even if English is the first language, must submit English certification no more than 24 months old:
- An IETLS certificate - minimum score of 6.5
- A TOEFL certificate - minimum score of 575 on the paper-based test, 230 on the computer-based test or 90 on the iBT
