Educational requirements: Bachelor's degree in envir. science, urban/regional planning, geography, agriculture, forestry or another related scientific/technical discipline.
Professional experience required: Helpful, but not required.
Language requirements: TOEFL (minimum score: 550 paper based, 213 computer b, 79-80 internet b); IELTS (minimum score: 6.0)
Objectives: The urban and regional planner, working in the private or public sector, has to deal with international policies, finances, networks, and physical relations.
Subjects: Sustainable development; specialisation in urban and regional planning (spatial developments in border areas, analysis of the spatial situation and opportunities in a given area); research project.
Modes of instruction: Projects in group work, lectures, assignments, individual research, research project, excursions to UK and in the Netherlands, simulation play, workshops.
