Introduction

The MA programme is designed to give you the academic and professional knowledge, understanding and skills to enable you to practice professionally as a town and country planner. It aims to meet the growing needs of employers for staff able to investigate how change in the natural and built environments is shaped by economics, society and governance and to undertake critical thinking about space and place as the basis for action and intervention.
