The aim:

• depending on the group an alternative module profound expertise in the following areas: Limnology, marine biology, Microbial, molecular and chemical ecology; ecophysiology and ecosystem ecology; Synökologie and landscape ecology, human ecology;

Professional fields:

• Scientific research at university or college, Fachhochschule, autonomous research institutions and research stations, at the Federal Environmental Agency, to the federal institutions and museums,
• Public administration at the municipal, county, state and federal level and in international organizations (such as municipal and provincial governments, district offices, facheinschlägige ministries, federal environmental authorities, national park authorities, FAO, UNESCO, EU, etc.),
• Collaboration on the (inter) national NGOs (such as WWF, Global 2000, Greenpeace)
• Self-employed planning, Veratungs and cooperative work, civil engineering and engineering offices, business umweltökonomische Vera Tung, 'risk assessment',
• Energy management, water supply and water quality control,
