MSc Environmental Consultancy: University of the West of England

Introduction

This MSc course is designed for those who wish to acquire professional skills associated with the identification, assessment, evaluation and control of the environmental problems that face businesses today. It is based on a strong interdisciplinary and applied focus and our established links to consultancy, industry, national and local government and professional accrediting bodies such as the Institution of Environmental Sciences (IES) and The Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA).

Content

All students study the core modules:

• Environmental Business Skills (EBS)
• Advanced Topics in Environmental Sciences
• Professional Practice in Environmental Science (PROPIES)
• Research Project

Entry requirements

Applicants normally have one of the following:

• an honours degree awarded by a UK institute of higher education of at least lower second classification, in a relevant subject, with significant technical content.
• qualifications and professional practice experience deemed equivalent.
