Educational requirements: At least in the third year of a BSc programme in biological science. Proficient in biology and mathematics at first year university level.

Professional experience required: Professional experience is not required, previous work experience is however also considered.

Language requirements: TOEFL (minimum score: 550 paper based, 213 computer based); IELTS (minimum score: 6.0)

Other requirements: Basic computer skills.

Objectives: Participants will be able to: analyse, (help) design and implement measures to protect nature and wildlife quality in and ex situ within a framework of sustainable development and are able to function effectively in an international team.

Subjects: Wildlife management; research in animal management; sustainable tourism; international dimensions of wildlife management; captive animal management; conservation biology; international fauna policies.

Modes of instruction: Lectures, excursions, project work, eco-tourism business plan, case studies, tutorials, computer simulations, individual study.
