Educational requirements: Bachelor's degree in environmental science, biology, ecology, agriculture, forestry or another related scientific or technical discipline.
Professional experience required: Helpful, but not required.
Language requirements: TOEFL (minimum score: 550 paper based, 213 computer b, 79-80 internet b); IELTS (minimum score: 6.0)
Objectives: Students are able to: understand the functioning of ecosystems; investigate and assess the quality of ecosystems; develop policy and management to protect ecosystems and/or natural values.
Subjects: Management; professional skill training; specialisation in nature conservation and biodiversity management; development and implementation of policies for ecological qualities and biodiversity management; research.
Modes of instruction: Group projects, lectures, assignments, individual research, excursions to Belgium, UK and in the Netherlands, simulation play, workshops.
