Graduate School of Neural and Behavioural Sciences / International Max Planck Research School

Students take courses on transferable skills, advanced neuroscience and methodology courses, make excursions to research institutions and companies and participate in summer schools, seminars and international meetings.

The doctoral training aims at preparing students for a career in science and academia.

Educational Organisation

Doctoral students will be offered a structured training programme throughout their doctoral period; they are required to earn a total of 20 credit points. Doctoral students will be grouped into teams according to their starting year. In the first, they will take courses together and join the same doctoral student seminars.
