This Sustainable Development Master’s programme offers a unique multidisciplinary approach, combining natural and social sciences. You’ll work together with Sustainable Development students from different tracks in multidisciplinary research that do not shy away from confrontation and integration of ideas and viewpoints.
The Sustainable Development Master’s programme has been developed by one of the world’s leading research groups on sustainability issues: Utrecht University’s Copernicus Institute for sustainable development and innovation. Their research and teaching staff participate actively in international networks and are at the forefront of their field.
The quality of our environment is an important topic. That is why the world needs people with comprehensive knowledge of environmental issues. As a Utrecht Sustainable Development graduate, you will have an excellent basis for a further career: you will be eligible for a subsequent PhD programme or an academic-level position at research institutes, in government, in business or at NGOs all over the world.
Educational requirements: BSc in a natural, technical or environmental science.
