By studying Economics, you will gain an insight into the working of both the UK and the international economy, and will acquire the skills necessary to analyse the economic problems faced by contemporary society. As an Economics graduate, you can embark on a wide variety of careers, including managerial posts in both the private and public sectors in fields such as finance, sales, marketing, projects, human resources and production. Many employers state that the flexibility of reasoning of Economics graduates is a very valuable resource for job training and development. Graduates have a good grounding for a career as an economist, or for taking a Master's degree.
English Language requirements: All students will have a recognised English Language qualification of at least GCSE grade C or an equivalent such as the British Council's International English Language Test (IELTS) grade 6.0.
