About the programme

The programme is an ideal choice for people who like to solve complicated puzzles, and are interested in applying those skills in a social context.

Students can choose from three specializations:

  • Operations Research
  • Econometrics
  • Actuarial Studies.

In the Econometrics programme you will try to find an answer to an economics problem by placing it into a mathematical model.

Operations research is the field which concentrates on various logistical and financial decision-making problems, such as truck routes, railway timetables, stock control, or production planning.

The Actuarial studies programme concentrates on subjects connected with insurance.

Career prospects

Finance, insurance, marketing, market research (market development, fund management, risk analysis or assessing the impact of advertising). In profit- and non-profit organisations.

Admission requirments

  • Bachelor’s degree in the field of Econometrics or Economics, with sufficient mathematics and statistics, including modules in the area of the specialization
  • Proficiency in English: TOEFL92 (iBT)/237 (CBT)/580 (PBT) or IELTS 6.5
