The Master’s degree programme is based on the latest economic theories. Students learn how the economy functions within society, and how economic theory can help to find solutions to current issues, such as whether the national government complies with EU budget regulations, how nanotechnology can help countries to develop, and whether a ‘fat tax’ will help to make people more healthy.
The MSc in Economics is designed to be an internationally competitive, high-quality Master’s degree programme. The international character is demonstrated by the fact that English is the teaching language – as it is for the Bachelor’s programme – and that acclaimed, highly respected international literature is used.
