Objectives: The Master of Science programme in Financial Economics integrates the fields of finance, monetary economics and econometrics. The analysis of price behaviour on financial markets in relation to macroeconomic developments forms the core of the programme. Asset prices, interest rates, exchange rates, and real estate prices all are related to the economic environment and to monetary policies.
Subjects: Asset prices and the volatility on financial markets; integration courses discuss core problems in financial economics from the point of view of finance and monetary economics or finance and econometrics; and free electives aim to broaden your scope within the field of financial economics.
Modes of instruction: Problem-Based Learning (PBL).
