Educational requirements: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Economics, Health Policy and Management or in a relevant field.
Language requirements: TOEFL (minimum score: 575; or 233 for computerized version ); IELTS (minimum score: 6.5), Native English speakers; or English as first language in secondary education; or English at VWO level (Dutch students).
Objectives: Its students will be trained to apply the concepts and tools of economic analysis to health and health care, including the functioning of health care markets and the economic evaluation of health care programmes and interventions.
Subjects: Economics and financing of health care systems; economics of health and health care; microeconomics; industrial organisation; introduction to econometrics; health technology assessment; applied health econometrics; advanced economic evaluation; topics in health economics.
Modes of instruction: Lectures, working groups.
