Course Description

Since september 2003, the Institute of Health Policy and Management (iBMG) offers the international Master's programme in Health Economics, Policy and Law (HEPL). MSc HEPL is multidisciplinary and specially designed for students interested in understanding the complexities of health care systems from different disciplinary perspectives. Successful students will be able to identify the policy and economics implications of legal rules and decisions, to advance arguments using both legal, economics and political reasoning, as well as to grasp the differences between national health care systems.

Job prospects

HEPL prepares students from all over the world for career positions both in the private and public sector, in international organisations like the WHO, OECD, World Bank and European Union, national and international associations, consultancy firms, insurance companies, sickness funds, medical technology agencies, hospitals, advisory boards, regional health authorities and other government institutions.
