Course Description

The consecutive Master's Degree in International Economics offers the students a critical understanding of today's discussions in economics. The program has a strong international orientation and aims to understand the connections between theoretical controversies, historical developments and current economic policy issues. It also includes an interdisciplinary analysis that emphasizes the importance of social and political institutions for economic development.

Career Options

After successful completion of the course, students receive the academic degree of Master of Arts (MA). Graduates are equipped with all the necessary qualifications, which allows you to pursue internationally oriented careers in government and non-governmental organizations and in international businesses and business associations.

Admissions

  • Bachelor's or equivalent degree
  • Technical college, general university, technical college, special groups of applicants (§ 11 BerlHG)
  • At least 210 ECTS credits (applicants with 180 credit points have to purchase an additional 30 credits by completing a supervised, ie the master's program is extended by one semester)
  • Very good knowledge of English to at least level B2 of the Council of Europe recommended the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CERF)
