Course Description

The MSc Economics aims to provide students with a thorough knowledge and understanding of the concepts, tools and methods of modern economics together with the application of these methods to the analysis of economic problems.

The programme is designed not only to equip students to undertake independent research in economics, but also to provide the training necessary for careers as economists in the public and the private sector.

The MSc Economics provides advanced training in economic analysis, and offers a wide range of optional subjects. It offers students the opportunity to study particular areas of economics in greater depth, from both a theoretical and an empirical perspective.
