Course description

Topics of Ph.D. research may be in any area covered by the research interests of the faculty of the postgraduate programme. The particular strengths of their Department of Economics lie in the fields of

International Economics
Financial Economics
Econometrics
Applied Microeconomics
Decision Theory.

The programme aims to train students for leading positions in banks and companies, as well as in the political sector, and for academic careers. It offers a full set of courses in core areas of economics and neighbouring disciplines, meeting international standards.

Admission requirements

Application is open to students of all nationalities who hold a degree in economics. Application may also be accepted from graduates with degrees in fields like business administration, social sciences, mathematics, engineering, or physics. About ten applicants will be accepted for entering the programme each winter term starting by October.
