Policy and Strategy in Physical Activity and Sport (PASPAS) MA course aims to equip future leaders in sporting, government and other related organisations with a working understanding of the latest global developments and pre-eminent thinking in research, policy and practice in the world of sport and physical activity.
This programme is designed to meet the development needs of individuals working within public, private and voluntary bodies with a responsibility for the development and provision of sport and physical activity. It will provide you with knowledge and understanding of UK policy and strategy processes, and the tools to implement them. Units cover such themes as policy and planning, managing people, the measurement of physical activity, the role of educators and governance, as well as research methods to support your dissertation.
Entry requirements
A good bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area (including sport studies, sport science, sport management and politics) from a recognised university; practical experience within the proposed area of study may be considered
