The curriculum allows students to complete the programme in two years, obtaining the degree Master of Science.

Several branches of specialisation can be chosen:

  • Communication Systems
  • Automation and Control
  • Mechatronics
  • Microelectronics
  • Power Systems
  • Digital Systems

The two years are divided into 4 semester. In the first semester the student's lectures are in English and they have to participate in a laboratory, giving the tutors an insight into the student's capabilities. After this, two terms of lecture courses will follow. The final term is reserved for the Master's thesis, which will give hands-on experience with work on a special project with greater individual responsibility.

At the beginning, the engineering classes are offered in English for an easier start, later they are held in German. During this time, courses in the German language are given parallel to the studies of Electrical Engineering. They are tailored to the individual needs of the students. The Master's thesis as the final examination can be written in English or German.

This degree will not only provide an excellent basis for work in companies, but will also qualify the student to pursue further academic interests to obtain the German degree Dr.-Ing.
