Electrical Power Engineering: RWTH Aachen University

The programme comprises one and a half years of course work including lectures, exercises, practical courses, and excursions. Two months of practical training in the German industry and four months for the completion of the Master's thesis supplement the programme for a total of 2 years. Upon successful completion of the programme, participants are awarded the degree of Master of Science in Electrical Power Engineering from RWTH Aachen University. The programme is open to students from all over the world. The language of instruction is either German or English, depending on the programme chosen.

This programme is designed to train students in modern Electrical Power Engineering. It offers a high level of education in close co-operation with industry. Students will gain the ability to understand and cope with the various problems of electrical power engineering by the application of scientific methods, including the ability to adapt new scientific findings for the use of electrical power engineering. Students will learn how to apply their knowledge of mathematics and electrical engineering to technical problems, and then solve problems in a global, social and economic context.
