Educational requirements: BSc with honours, or high marks in electrical or mechanical engineering or (applied) physics from an internationally acknowledged university.
Professional experience required: Not required, but extensive experience could reduce the duration of the programme.
Language requirements: TOEFL (minimum score: TOEFL-iTB subscores 20 or higher); IELTS (minimum score: subscores 6.0)
Objectives: A graduate with a master's degree in Mechatronics is able to develop, design and realise controlled mechatronic systems; to keep up with, evaluate and integrate international literature into their own work and to break through the frontiers of existing technologies.
Subjects: Dynamic systems; digital control systems; electronics; embedded signal processing; logical circuits; dynamics of machines and mechanisms; dynamic properties of constructions and mechanisms; software development; mechatronics; affiliated multidisciplinary areas.
Modes of instruction: Courses, computer-assisted education, individual tutoring, individual practical assignment, thesis project, company visits, lectures by researchers from various companies, training in oral and written presentations.
