Industrial Engineering and Management - track Health Care Technology and Management: University of Twente

Educational requirements: BSc in Industrial Engineering or a related field.

Language requirements: TOEFL (minimum score: Minimum scores is 90 (internet based TOEFL). ); IELTS (minimum score: Overall band score of 6.5 is required.)

Objectives: HCTM highlights the issues that play a role in the management of health care organizations. The special emphasis of this track is on the management and organizational aspects of the development and implementation of biomedical technology. Furthermore, we focus on the organizational aspects of hospitals from an IE&M point of view.

Subjects: For example: health and health systems; organization theory and operations management; discrete optimization of business processes; management and organization of technological innovation; international health strategy and hospital of the future; the nature of hospital work and health care workers; e-health strategies.

Modes of instruction: Lectures, seminars (including presentations by teachers and students) block seminars, internship. Students are invited to develop research capabilities during the courses.
