During the first three semester students acquire a strong foundation in mathematics, natural sciences, electrical engineering and computer science.
Specialisation in one of these three areas:
- microelectronics
- microsystems engineering
- photonics
This course has a stronger natural sciences component compared to typical engineering courses, because theory and working knowledge are aimed at microsystem structures and applications requiring a broad, interdisciplinary basic knowledge.
